26 October — 04 November
Within a jambalaya of seeming disparate elements WAAR uses drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, dance, performance, craft and furniture design to celebrate ideas and the shifting of realities.
Sixteen New Zealand-bound emerging artists will exhibit at the Co.Space at 155 K-Rd during Art Week 26th October – 4th November. The exhibition’s title ‘We Are All Right’ reflects the desire to validate each artist’s reality in a world where we are all incessantly bombarded by contrasting ideas, events, perceptions and experiences of rights and wrongs. Our collaboration observes the stories our minds make out of it all and shape who we become.
It can feel like a cold hard world for the creatively inclined. The necessity for the bread and butter job slowly and surely envelops time once spent ensconced in making. However, we are alright. We are all right.
